First Impressions of MPC Live

I feel you. Me l will leave the sounds alone. I have a HHD l can connect to the usb port and asdign my personal spunds to a pad also.

I wouldn't delete or save anything on the internal drive until they come up with a way of accessing it via your computer for backup (confirmed to be coming) and bulk drag/drop (not confirmed if this is ever happening). I think as the OS is also stored on that drive AKai are not allowing direct access but there must be some way for them to provide limited access via some additional utility or similar.

Im no SSH expert, but I assume it might also be possible to access the drive remotely this way?

u can delete kits using the shift as noc stated; but that does not delete the samples so you got to do it manually from the sample edit screen.

there are a bunch of edm samples that i know r not to my taste

First thing I did was wipe the internal Hard Drive clean. I do that with most devices though. Then threw all my sounds on the internal. Very easy to do. Highlight the entire folder and hit delete !!

Sounds are mediocre at best in my listening ...

ok good shout but i like some of the acoustic drums and percussion; so will have to go thru it manually

if they say a few weeks thats a long time to expect september at the earliest
