Hi, I'm trying to to use my impluse midi controller keyboard as the midi in to the mpc and have that control the midi out to a hardware synth, the MPC recognises the midi controller so no issue there just having some trouble figuring out how i can make that control the synth thats going from the midi out. Any tips would be much appreciated ! thanks 8)

Find out what channel you're midi controller transmits midi on ,what channel it's on just leave it ,same with the synth ,what is it by the way ? But again in its settings there will be a master midi channel that it receives on. Make a note of its channel ,.
Now in the live ,select an unused track ,.press the small icon that looks like a midi port ,.
Lower down it'll say something like "midi 01"
To the right it says midi chan.,
Set this to the same midi channel as you're synth , then play the controller ,it should play .
Now to the right of the TRACK ,where it says track 1 or whatever ,there's a pencil looking icon ,tap that and name that track the name of you're synth .
From now on that's the track you're synths on ,..so anything you play or record etc is on that track ,..you can also assign the Q-Link controllers to tweak the filters etc
