feedback squeal after switching from one sequence to another

has anyone else come across this? when i switch from one seq to another, i'm getting a feedback squeal, sounds like an effect parameter somewhere is getting throw out of whack, but i can't find any that have more tha 50% feedback. and its only after i switch sequences, i can hear the delay timing adjust itself, and then after some time feedback builds up and overwhelms
