MPC2kxl Syncing with Cubase

I just got the E-MU 1820m that comes with the Cubase VST 5.1. I've already got a couple of tracks that I want to get to putting lyrics to. However I'm trying to find a better way of getting the beats from the MPC to Cubase.

Soon enough I'll be adding a keyboard to my production and I'm going to want to record those sounds into Cubase also. I've recorded one beat into Cubase, but it seems as though there's an easier way. I also want to get into mixing the tracks so I can master the sound better.

i also want to know how to connect my zip drive or mpc to computer and master tracks using cubase..i've searched but can't find anything...maybe im not searching right but if anyone can explain as to which cables to use to do this and how it will be done..that will be cool

Yall really belong in the newbie form, and you should read that soundcard manual, it should answer a lot of questions.

look for the midi/smpte setup in CEP...make sure your hookups are right...gosintas and gosouttas


...make sure your sampler etc. is set up to be sync'd
