You could of down loaded it from your account and so much more.

Gunner7 wrote:All of that is possible. But being a newby to MPC I wanted the content installed and ready to play with. I will add my own down the road after I get the hang of it. And there is something about paying that much money for something and it not being right. I took it back and will await a new one.

Quick question, how do you know the sounds are crappy if you don't even have the machine? Wait for it.....

Not all the sounds are trash thete is a lot of usefull drum sounds there l can attest to that. I actually have the machine.

Do a little test ,sample something ,save it ,and see if it's there when you switch it back on ,the other person who received one with an empty drive - he downloaded the library but it deleted it when he turned the live off.
I'd return it man
By Gunner7 Mon Jun 26, 2017 3:02 pm
I already returned it and will have another in a few days. I am not spending that kind of money for something I have to make right.

I also downloaded all of the packs and have the installed in the mpc software to play with.

I find about 50% of the library useful tbh yeh agreed with Danoc some really good drum sounds ,also the odd bass note here and there etc some nice pads for sure after editing there ADSR and adding plenty of delay sync
But yeh some of that EDM stuff.... :vomit:

Did you down load the Air instrments and effects? If you did pull up the Mini Grand, Velvet etc. Freakin love those!

Hell you can make tracks without the Live and just use the software.

I hope everything works out for you.
If you need help we will help you. People like Ill Green, Fanu, MPC tutor and lcepulse and others.

Yeah bro the way l sound design l can make aight be great. Stacking drums usuing the decimator and other effects l got it crazy over here.

I don't listen to theunfyckwitable he doesn't have the machine. He is what you call a pure Akai troll.
When he had a pic holding the MV8800, either he's a midget or that machine is huge as hell!
Ill take the Live and go against him and his immemorial antiquity machine and set a flame so hot under his ass he would drink nothing but water for one month to cool his ass down!
He's a hater! Facts.

I like some the EDM sounds, l've incorporated some in my RNB and my singer went crazy and wrote some hot ish!

I get my replacement this week. Hoping for the best. I will reach out when I get it.
By Gunner7 Wed Jul 05, 2017 7:10 pm
I got my replacement. It has everything installed and working fine. FTI, look back at my original post about the hard drive space. Not a singe person hear responded about the drive size I reported. It was reporting about 1 GB drive size. That is one of the reasons I chose to return. This one show the full correct drive size.

Thats because I didn't feel like answering. Read the manual bud.

Why the negative response? According to Danoc you are supposed to be one of the helpful people on here.

I am reading the manual as I go. According to what I have seen in the manual so far it has 16 GB with 10 GB or so used for samples. My previous one was showing 1 GB for the size of the drive with is wrong, and 1 GB available.

I look forward to getting newby help from folks here. Carry on.

Danoc is right but you were already aiming guns with that "Nobody hear " if I can post, I post and if nobody wants to post then be it, stars and planets aligned that we didn't respond. And no negativity, just calling out yours.
