I don't think they deserve any particular praise, they were just a bit slow to raise the price, they raised it up to £969 the next day.

Meh, the Live aint the sampler of all samplers. Its what I want though, old school in a new school approach. Its good to sell gear you don't use, it helps define your creativity and bring yourself to another level. I'm putting up my MV and a few preamps myself. Its a hobby but it pays itself, thank you to my supporters :worthy:

So I initially picked up a LIVE may 3 here in LA. No pre-order. Just word of mouth that they were out in the wild.

I returned it a few weeks later but under the 30 day grace due to some hardware things i was not liking with the first batch (may 30th ish).

Forward to yesterday 6/26 I was able to walk into a local GC again and purchase a LIVE from a different batch . These just arrived off the truck. Matter of fact 3 different GC stores locally had random units in stock whereas the GC warehouse (i had initially ordered a new one online) was still showing not in stock.

Tokyo stores were in short supply and delayed for three weeks. So I had to go online (Rakuten) and get an unit from online shop in Osaka. It was just delivered today. Since last year I had been working with and learning a elektron analog rhythm and I had missed the news about a standalone mpc until it was mentioned in elektron forums. The audio tracks were the feature that peaked my interest along with the battery powered standalone.
