How to create 1/2 bars?

Title kind of says it all. I have a 12 1/2 bar sequence (that's the kind of music I make and I can't find a way to choose fractions of a bar. I see that individual patterns can have various lengths (down to "beats"), but not entire sequences. Anyone know if I'm missing something, or if not, if there is some kind of work around?

how about 25 bars double speed

I find that 8 beats is half a bar ,or create a bar and using the pencil icon next to sequence select half length,that should do it

If you're in 4/4-

There are 4 beats in a bar. Each quarter note gets a beat.

Can't get it to work, possibly because I'm using audio tracks. If I try to halv 1 bar on the page that comes up by pushing the pencil button, it doesn't do anything. I hope this will work in the near future, because my music is full of short abrupt stops "between" sequences...

I have the same question. Doubling tempo works, of course, but mid project, that’s a lot of administration. I prefer a more fun way

Knowing that you may need half bars in your projects, you should always work in double tempo so you can accomplish what you are after. I now only work in quadruple tempo so I can use quarter note bars for song mode.

Since the default time signature is 4/4, you need to insert 12 bars of 2/4. Main | Sequn e | Insert Bars

The issue with insert bars with a different time signature is that it works in seq mode and it works in song mode but when you convert song to sequence it converts everything to one time signature so it won’t convert a sequence with multiple time signatures correctly. It‘a not a problem if you aren’t using convert to sequence to arrange but will scramble your arrangement if you are. Using the tempo work around lets you stay in one time signature and convert less than 4/4 bars correctly. If you are tracking to a daw to do your arranging then insert bars works best.
