Hoping someone can help. I've had the live a few weeks and have just decided to try the controller mode. I've downloaded 2.0, uninstalled it and installed it again and my computer still doesn't recognise the device. I am using a USB 3.0 port and it just stays on the looking for computer screen. Anyone know any solution?

Managed to get it working with a different cable. Mine must have been faulty. Its working with the software now. Only problem is my computer doesn't see it as a device I can move files to and from so i cant use existing projects.

The blue USB cable included is problematic for many people, I'm surprised they haven't updated this yet.

It's currently not possible to see the internal 16GB drive when in controller mode, this may never be possible. If you install your own SATA drive, this should appear in your computer when attached. My advice is to not save anything to the internal 16GB drive as it's not really possible to backup or transfer stuff from it. Hopefully Akai come up with some way of at least being able to back it up.

Umm the blue cord is really not a problem its the poor instructions by Akai on the subject of installing properly.

I had the same problem but l solved it. Below follow exactly my instructions. I helped abfew annd they are up and running. After you finish following my instructions always open the software first then switch to control mode.

MPC Turtor could you pin this up so they it will already be here to help. Thanks
