It is possible to have both exist (on a Mac at least), I did try it briefly . You'll need a copy of the 1.9 app and copies of the VST/AU versions if you use them. Rename the to MPC 1.9 and paste them back in after the 2.0 upgrade. Seemed to work, but I didn't test if for more than a minute.

I just check the Guitar Center website and it is showing MPC X in stock and ready for shipping.

Yep like you l didn't preorder. I was told by Eyaic and l called and ordered from MF.

Yep, that's how I did it too. I'd call GC and see what they have. But I think it's probably better to actually go to a local store if you can.

Nothing near or around me. Internet or phonecall for me since 1996. Maybe Best Buys when their music section stocks up but not even a GC can be found and the music shops here are generic or if they do got something, its usually maxed to the MSRP. so the MPC Live would've cost me $1999.00 locally. Eff that, glad I got my deal.

Yesssss siirrrrr! Thank you. It's working like a charm. Only thing lm hating is that freakin ilok key cramp! Akai gave the Air instruments and efx they are so dope man! I'm gettibg ready to do a video on the Live soon.

Which company did you order yours from?

Pretty sure everyone is getting them from sweet water as they had a nice size batch.

Emailed one of the sales advisers and they said they get their next batch in September. I'm still hangin out for guitar center (ordered in feb)
