change the start point of a sample

I inadvertantly miscount a measure and sang one verse 1 bar early is it possible to change when the sample plays?

Sample edit allows me to adjust the start point within the sample but it has no way to insert one bars worth of silence.

Any tips would be welcome.

Can't you export to audio track, trim the start point, and then move the actual wav file to where you want in the timeline.
