MPC Live Stand Alone Grid Mode: Q-Link Functions

In Grid Mode, Q-Link bank 3, third knob down, turn it and yellow bars begin to appear on the grid.

Can anyone tell me what this is, what this does? I can't figure it out.

Also, has anyone figured out how to change the time signature of an existing bar? (not looking to keep adding/deleting bars/copying events every time... tedious)

It's for setting the individual length you want a particular track to play for.

Press and hold the Qlink button and a screen pops up telling you what each bank of Q's do...
