Is the roland mv8000 better than all other mpc's that were before 4000(2000,2000xl,3000)? and as far as technical how difficult is it to get a hold of someone from akai?

Again, as with any instrument it depends on what you are wanting.

If you are looking for a Pattern based sequencer that let's you switch sequences on the
fly via the "next sequence" window, then the MPC 2000,2000Xl,3000, & 1000) blow
the MV 8000 out of the water.


If you are looking for a sequencer/sampler that can double up a RAM disk recorder, then
obviously the MPC series isn't going to be right for you.

So it really depends on your point of view and what features one wants.
