I realised had one of these $5 (£3) Ikea laptop stands knocking around in the back of a storage cupboard, it's actually a decent fit for the Live (width perfect, depth approx 70mm extra space at the top). I'll get some pics sorted later.

The older model we have in the studio with the controller for Radar has solid sides, like the ones in the photo that Marc posted (not implying his are old), but the photos of the current ones show the sides have holes for venting.

Marc - any comment/ideas?

I use the same, you can use the space underneath for cables (in case you have synths on both sides) or to store an Akai MPK 25
