I have a EP I want to remix completely in MPC 2.0 software. So far I learned that I have to drag and drop my vocal stems to audio tracks, but what I want to do is create my sequences and arrange them in song mode to the vocal stems so the arrangement of my remix can have a dope feel for the song. How do I do this?

You could create the track in song mode and convert the song to a long sequence and then lay your vocals on top. Kind of a workaround but this not the MV

Thanks, but I have to admit that is really disappointing that I can't create my sequences to the audio tracks in order to determine what works and what doesn't...

Another workaround is to convert all your midi tracks to audio tracks and then arrange it to your liking that way.

Thanks, but the idea of that is kinda vexing to be honest. You should be able to create to the vocals. Like what if I wanted to place kicks or snares to a rapper's flow like how Jake one did on that De La Soul joint with MF Doom?

Then you just play the vocals like a long sample and bang out a sequence underneath.
