Defining Mute groups

Hi everyone,
i can't figure out how to create a mute group in a drum program.
I think it should work like this:
>program edit, >lfo modulation, then assign the pad to a mute group.
Done that, still the samples do not cut each other off....
Any ideas what might be wrong?

That's the way that it's supposed to work. Do a video if you can, maybe there's something that you're missing.
