On the mpc live. .
How assignable are the 6 output jacks?
Is output 1 and 2 a copy of L and R main ? Can i have 6 seperate tracks running out of 6 seperate jacks? Or is that pos with jacks 1 to 4??

Hey, thought I could help answer your question and ask my own. From the manual " The Master L/R outputs are the same as Outputs 1/2"

My question is; is there any way to send all audio out through multiple outputs (so I can hook up several speakers to the MPC Live without splitting the Output 1/2 (or using the headphone)??

I have a room with 4 separate speakers that I'd love to be able to connect to the various inputs and have all of them playing all sounds coming from the MPC.

I have made some programs sending certain tracks out to outputs 3/4 (keeping the other sounds to mains L/R) to a mix desk to process separately from the main L/R.

I am sure there is a way to program all the outputs to be the same.
I was just using a pair of the outputs to resample through an effects pedal last night worked great. I could also monitor my return input so all the sound ran through my master/ headphones...

I will look into this later tonight.

So basicly you can only use outputs 3 and 4 for individual tracks? So youve got 3 mixes- your main mix out of L n R and same on 1 n 2, then output 3, and output 4 to use for seperate tracks? Hmm the older stuff has 8 outputs wish they would of included this in 'live'

I wasn't able to find a way to have all the outputs stream the same audio, but also haven't checked it out in the manual. If I remember I will look into this further.

Hi guys,

Any luck with this?
I'm trying to do the same e.g
Click :OUT 3/4 only
Percussion: both 1/2 + 3/4
Guitar: both 1/2 + 3/4
Cue Track: 3/4 only etc

Just need to send different mixes to band / front of house and can't see the option to choose multiple outs,
Looks like another extremely basic feature missed.

Thanks,

Ryan

That makes zero sense. Want 8 out, get the X. Live was made as a cheaper alternative to X.
Hence Live doesn't have all the hardware X has.

Anyone found a solution to this yet?

Live's main outs are going into my mixer and I'd like another pair of outs to go into my Digitakt's input so I can sample, is this possible?

Yes just assign what you want to route to th digi to 3/4 in the program. Super easy and really helpful I run one pair to the effects an another to the digi.

Not possible 'by default' but workaround is to duplicate your percussion track and send the original to 1/2 and the duplicate track (with a copy of the original percussion program) to 3/4.

I just want the same audio to be coming out from both outputs, not individual tracks. You are saying that this can be done from the program edit?

You would have to follow tutors directions for that. I use the aux outs to resample stuff. Some need to get some effects, some samples or phrases I just want to mess with on the digi. I don't use them to stream the same audio. But yes it's done with the program routing. I think it can be done in the few areas, maybe program edit and channel edit.

Also the older MPCs with 8 outs were flagships.
