Hello,

after many weeks without problems i got this weekend 3 times the message after loading a beat and pressing play: Mpc live recovered from internal error. I get the option to reload the beat and then it's all fine again.
Is this just a hickup from the software or is it something more serious (so i would need to send the unit back?)

Did u guys ever get this message?
Thanks in advance!

Its a computer, so expect a glitch from time to time.

Has your iPhone, android, etc, device ever gifted you a force close or spinning wheel of death on occasion? Well the same can happen to this machine since it runs a computer OS.

That said, Ive note seen such an error message and ive both the live and X.

Question, do you have any internal SSD? Where were the files combined from? Internal factory installed disk? Was it in controller mode? Was it on a SD card? Etc etc.

I have just a SD card in it with some simple programs and a few samples (no SSD installed yet).
It happened the first time after going from controller mode to standalone mode, but after the first time i've seen it like 3 times more (only standalone mode).

Just wondering if it is hardware of software related.

Try a different SD card.

Again its a computer. You WILL see glitches for time to time. Its a machine running code. Just like a computer. One hopes as the code matures these random glitches may go away.

I have not seen this error but someone else stated up there they did. So it could be a random glitch, could be tied to a certain type of media (maybe brand X do and SD card works better than brand y?) or all of the above.

To help akai, send them a bug report and explain to them the card brand and what you were doing prior. The more users who do that the better.

Much success to you my friend...

Any suggestions where i can do this? The akai professional website?

I think you're right about the SD card, it is a nameless brand so this could be the problem indeed! Thanks
