I've got serious gear lust going on over here. It doesn't help that everyone is receiving their new MPC X and posting pics of em. :( I'm happy rocking with the MPC Touch/MPC 2.0 software. The one reason why I'm not jumping out the window to buy the MPC X is because with the MPC software, I can use all the plugins on my computer. Someone help me out here. LOL

If you can do it, go for it! Just got mine and I'm loving it although it's pretty dense when you're just getting started. I think the biggest issue is what will you use it for, a really nice controller for the software? If so there's other cheaper options. If you have a lot of midi gear and eurorack or other cv controllable equipment I'd say it's a no brainer, which is why I got the X, to connect all the synths and modular I have to one hub with sampling and sequencing being the icing on the cake. Good luck with your decision!

Touch aint a real mpc. Sell the touch. Get an mpc with a brain that can think
on it's own.

You said it yourself you are happy wuth your setup. Then you gave the other answer you have serious gear lust. Lmao

ThebX is a beautiful machine and the software and the Air stuff it cones with is dope.
If you get the X  and you plan on not getting a machine for at least 15 years l say get it. If you don't need it then so be it.
Enjoy your life and music you only live once.

The X is the most desirable machine Nukai have ever made IMO. It's disappointing to have to switch my X preorder to the Live, but I had a few hours to mess around with a friend's Live yesterday and I was pretty ****' chuffed on the whole. I get mine on Tuesday. :smoker:

I had my X for almost two weeks and I also have the MPC Ren and Touch. There is no comparison. The X is the last MPC you will need--spend the money and purchase your dream maschine!

Not only will you feel better about making music, your music will make others feel better.

Why you switched your pre order? Taking to long on the X?
I love the Live l don't need the X truthfully. With the 2.0 SW it makes my live powerful and lm loving that too. But l do lust after the X lol. If l got the X the truth wood be purely off lust and not NEED for it.

That's good you're getting the Live soon.
