Yes add it to your existing gear, catch up to all the bills later you won't regret it you only live once (and take comfort the fact that in 5 or 6 years Akai might release something even better and discontinue the X and Live then we can do this all over again.) :smoker:

Already preordered the MPC Z Goku edition with dedicated sidechaining button and kamehameha blast releasing in 2031.

If I knew that one was coming I would have never ordered the Y..

Got lucky at Sam Ash in NYC and they had 1 in stock. Took it home and was really surprised at this machine. It's pretty much what I always wanted.
It a major step up from other MPC's or even the MV which was a pretty damn good machine too. This is on some other level shit. Really surprised at Akai with this one. Hopefully they don't abandon it after a year like the others. Looks like there can be some really cool things in the X and Live's future.

Which it allowed a mouse to hook up in stand alone mode, other then that Its hands down tops.

I've played with them all and the X will be a surprise for most people. I use to goto the same ash on 48th all the time but now they changed it up on 34th by B&H. nice spot. I'm surprise there wasn't any MPCs out not even a Live. times have changed.
