Yep. I can tell just by setting it up that it'll be a far more comfortable scene. Well made, too.

no_barcode wrote:This is just a rebranded (and marked-up) notebook stand that's technically too small (width-wise) for the Live.

I think there are more appropriately sized notebook stands out there.

Technically, it's as solid as a rock. I'm not a shill. Ask anybody active in the Live topics.

I use the IKea and it fits right but I don't recommend it for it assists in the heat underneath, its best something with ventilation like those Icepulse shows or cut two triangles of wood and lay the feet on it for angle. You can use anything, at work I use the giant 500 page looseleaf for angled support.

And Iceberg is no shill and rides Uber.

I heard the mpc-stuff branded version of the stand has 'better compatibility' with the mpc live though. I would not want to get non supported versions of stands. I also heard that using non supported versions of stands also makes my plugins sound different too.

So my beats are wack because I'm using an Ikea stand?

Oh man I'm gonna order a dozen of these compatible stands now

Totally. I have a lot of hidden gems I have yet to drop.

For instance, I buy blue MPC 1000's for around half the average price of asking at around $125-150 because I am humble enough to inform people that the bass on the blue one isn't as "soulful" and "analog" as the black one, hence suggesting lowering the asking price.

That's the width of the Live l really love that. And have USB sockets. From the look of it, it looks like how the X looks in the back with setting the tilt, that's really cool. How much is it? It's in another language, and it has cooling on it so it won't over heat.

Edited: l just ordered this and the reason:
1. Adjustable tilt function
2. Width supports exactly the width of the Live, MPC stuff the Live will hang off both edges. Pads are on the left side and if l bang hard the Live could tumble over.
3. Ventilation fans are nice. Even if the fans don't work there's still ventilation for the heat to escape.
4. Cost 29.34 with free shipping. :-D
5. Lights up if lights are dim, l love that that to set a mood.
6. It has USB ports that add extra ports for the Live.
7. You can fokd it flat and take it with you wherever the Live goes. Some brands are stuck in a permanent position not well for travel.
