Hey man, that is EXACTLY the problem i had!!
And it happened without any drives attached. so i took it
back and now waiting for a new unit.
It might has something to do with overheating maybe....or a defective touchscreen.
it happened to me only after using it for a while...

Jeez....we will see. My dealer is asking Akai directly for a statement. So if its a hardware problem, i'll get a new one, and if its a software bug, i will wait. It seems Akai will put out a new firmware soon. :worthy:

Ok...just got an answer from the Akai Support Team, i will give my MPC back,
this is just a joke, as it was advertised with 2gb for sampling:

This is not a hardware/software issue. I understand that this is the way that you are trying to use the MPC Live, as it seems there are others using it in a very similar way, however it seems that when using it this way, it is exceeding the processing power available to the MPC Live. I understand that the RAM is reading 75% in your case when you check, but this does not speak for when you switch pages.
