I've had this in controller mode in a specific project, this chap is getting it in standalone. Seems related to going from AUDIO EDIT to MAIN.

First i'd check the external HDD you're using for problems then i'd try saving the project to an external SD or flash drive to see if the problem persists..

Yeah, he is using an external drive, somewhere thats the problem. He should disconnect and try this test again.

Hey man, that is EXACTLY the problem i had!!
And it happened without any drives attached. so i took it
back and now waiting for a new unit.
It might has something to do with overheating maybe....or a defective touchscreen.

Yes it can be done...As i recall ill Gates got a faulty unit twice and it was documented in one of his videos..

I think this is a software bug, not hardware. I got it with a Touch in controller mode, so looks like a common bug across both platforms. Only happens in very specific circumstances.

Jeez....we will see. My dealer is asking Akai directly for a statement. So if its a hardware problem, i'll get a new one, and if its a software bug, i will wait. It seems Akai will put out a new firmware soon.

Ok...just got an answer from the Akai Support Team, i will give my MPC back,
this is just a joke, as it was advertised with 2gb for sampling:
This is not a hardware/software issue. I understand that this is the way that you are trying to use the MPC Live, as it seems there are others using it in a very similar way, however it seems that when using it this way, it is exceeding the processing power available to the MPC Live. I understand that the RAM is reading 75% in your case when you check, but this does not speak for when you switch pages.
