I've listened to both of the battle beats. Smack got DANOC beat by a super small margin imo.

@ Smack. I really don't like how it's a bland loop with no intricacies. It's a battle beat though and I understand it's not a full on production, for a battle a full on song is overkill anyway imo but some type of change up or something to show more flexibility could only be to your advantage in a battle ya dig.

@ DANOC. You put in work, I see it and I hear it. Same as the other battle beat I was really listening for the head nod moment but it never came. You had more variety in your work as well.

@ Both. As heated as you guys' argument was I was expecting way more heat that would BURN the other dude to a crisp.

The f*ck are you talking about? Where did I actually say anything about "90's sound define boom bap"

If you were to say "I like boom bap drums" then you're talking about a specific element of music. Now if you were to say that you listen to "boom bap hiphop" then to most people that have have a brain cell, would not liken that to some key board beats with an 808 drum and a clap snare with severe stereo widened reverb.

One day I will challenge you to an arm wrestling match, and you will be punished for your foulness here.
