Chasing bad plugins

I have a few older projects with plugins in them, somewhere. So when I load them in standalone, it whines about plugins, and loads the file as a new project. Save, reload, whatever, still complains about the plugins. I can find the Instruments easy enough, but others are nowhere to be found (AUFilter -- you suck).

Is there any way to get the plugins listed and deleted?

Well, third (fifth???) time's the charm, I found the plugin on a pad....

Open the xpm in a text editor, there will be a reference to the plugins used on each pad
