I downloaded some extra sample packs via my Akai Pro account...and noticed that none of the wave files in these optional pack want to work/play. (think about Atsia percussion pack or The 809).

No player recognizes these wav files...even the official MPC software does not read the file....and all other sample packs of mine do function correctly..?!?!

Anybody knows what the deal is with these files...?!?

Yes yo can.
Take the files and export through the software. The drums you want put them your desktop get a usb stick drag and drop the drum you want onto the USB stick. Stick usb stick in the X and place the drums on any pad yiu like.

RodmanSan wrote:Thanks for the clear explanation....already had a thought that they would be protected and will only work in the MPC software for the computer.

Pity though that you cannot export the files to my MPC X.

No problem. I love the software. If you have the Live jt extends it to another level whereas you can do more.
