Having tough time setting up in cubase

Something i am doing wrong followed the instructions for ren setup in cubase but i am getting dropouts with mpc x keeps looking for connection also i cannot hear the audio i see it in cubase. I have it set to plugin in akai software. Something not right pretty flakey.. any help ou there

How are you?
I don't have cubase but shouldn't you open the MPC software in cubase as a plugin and not trying to open up your MPC X as a controller.?
I could be wrong.

Doing well love it so far habe not made a beat yet just playing around when i have time.. in cubase i select instrument track and load mpc64 plugin then it connects but seems to drop out every few minutes or less.. the old instructions seem weird not what it should be for the new hardware. I sent a ticket into support

Yep MPC 64 comes. Thats strange cause it works fine in Reason 9.5.
Seems like you have it in the proper folder. I hope you get that resolved. That's bananas.

i will try reason soon have not really use reason yet also.. spend alot of dough and dont use my stuff family life and work

Which version of Reason do you have?

I have 9.5 i have not loaded it in it yet.. the update from 9 was free

Now l can use Omnisphere 2 in it witjout transferring back to R9.5

Guide for the touch not sure if i ahould import the touch .xml file

also the xml files you cant download there not there

I also use Cubase 9.5 haven't loaded the Mpc in it yet just been using the 2.0 software in standalone mode with the hardware love it so far ,
all my plugins seem to come up except Halion 6 , I can't find where it is on my hard drive but it's there some where , strange it didn't come up with the rest of the plug-ins . Hope you can sort this out and report back .
