To me at least it looks like we're all calm.

It's just, before the launch of Live/X, for example, the forum was constantly flooded with release date rumors, as shops updated their dates, and some were always posting those as truth, and then some believed it and spread it as truth. Then dudes got super pissed off ("Wow so it didn't come out on that announced date, Akai sucks" etc).
Hence, when you post info or news, make sure to include some sort of legit source for it...that prevents rumors from spreading. It never hurts to be slightly sceptical towards "info" on the net.

This website still has the same info up but it's German :popcorn: :

And besides every man needs to decide for their selfes if they believe what's posted on the net or not.. I can't be blamed for what someone else does with the info.. They got their own mind let them think for themselfes..

MPC-Tutor wrote:As far as I can tell, 2.0.5 was due for release last week, Akai set out press releases under an embargo and someone released the news too soon. However Akai somewhat predictably didn't even have 2.05 ready in time anyway. Hence here we are 1 week later and still nothing.

I was under the impression of the same thing.. I do believe this update exists only yet to be released.. :smoker:

Link? Want to see that this isn't just another rumor where a user wish becomes "Akai might do this and that"…

it was another exchange I had read between dan and this guy sorry I couldn't find it but I came across this one by dan and the same guy where dan seems to be keen on the idea. The other post is in the same thread somewhere but man it's a long thread.

apparently one of those guys is an akai rep. he doesn't say that the feature is definite just that it would be interesting or something like that, thats why I said if it ever shows up I'd faint. the mpc is a master at bringing little features together to make something greater, if akai puts trigs and stuff in the box it will push an already great machine over the top

Personally I wish they'd take another month or two and get it absolutely right rather than releasing with glaring problems.

@5:59 Hellfire says "Real-time timestretch".

I'd love to know what version OS he is running cuz this does not look like clips to me... Video is introduced as showcasing standalone workflow.

He basically said it sounded like shit also in standalone, oh boy.

so basically the updated real time stretch sounds like the current realtime time stretch as far as quality goes? I sincerely hope that is not the case.
