Key groups and why you do or don't use them

Things that I wish keygroups had are .
1 portemento
2. Ability to copy and paste a keygroup
3. Ability to set a keygroup trigger mode to note off/release
4. Some form of vsti sampling/freeze where it creates a keygroup for you out of your vsti instrument .. like extreme sample converter ....

I use them because I like making synths or keyboards instruments out of weird shit ... these additions for me would be awesome because then I'd dump them in the live and x when not using software mode ....


Thoughts ?

Definitely need them to get some melody. Still haven't figured out if drum kits can have different pitches per step. Love to use the 808 for this function but to no avail with this.

I'd love if every time I enter the piano roll it wasn't at the bottom of the piano.
