Hi All,

My MPC Live regularly struggles to connect to my iMac. I have the software running, but more often than not the MPC doesn't boot into controller mode and the SD card I have installed doesn't mount. This happens regardless of whether it's connected directly to the Mac USB port or a high quality powered external USB hub. Also, occasionally I get a warning from the Mac saying the SD card was not ejected properly, even though it's still trying to connect/look for computer.

Anyone else experience this, and if so have any of you found a fix?

Cool thanks, I'll try - haven't got another of this type but will try and grab one later today, I'll let you know if this solves the issue. It has worked but suddenly stopped today for some reason. I've tried everything, reset my iMac USB ports etc.

I've helped a few on this issue icluding myself.

You don't have the driver that's why it won't connect.

FOLLOW THIS:

1. Uninstall 2.0 from your mac.
2. Reinstall it.
3. On installing you will see a prompt that shows 4 installment tabs.
A) 2.0 software B) MPC X C) MPC Live
D) MPC Touch

5. In Your case you want to pick C) MPC Live. This will install rhe proper 2.0 software and drivers. Then follow the instructions.

6. Turn off your computer and the MPC should be off and not connected to the computer.

7. Turn on your computer and MPC. Connect the blue cable from the MPC to the Mac. Always turn on the 2.0 software first. Now now try to go to controller mode with the MPC Live.

I hope this works.
