Loading vst into mpc x as a plugin in cubase

Having trouble loading vst in mpc x 
. I have the plugin in my daw cubase i can select a vst such as nexus.. now how can i change the presets and launch the vst .. also what do i change to be able to play on my keyboard via usb

You can't load a vst directly into the X. You have to open the 2.0.3 Akai software , put the X in controller mode then open up vsts like Nexus 2. I have Nexus 2 updated version 3.0.3.

Also you don't open up Cubase then open up the Software 2.0.3 then try to open a vsts in the 2.0.3 software. You only need to open the 2.0.3 software then open up a vst within ut or open Cubase independently and open a vst in it.


Im having trouble comprehending what you're sayin when you stsrt talking about Cubase.

Im using the 2.0 software as a vst in my daw..then trying to load a vst inside the 2.0 software..

oh no mang. You open your vsts in Cubase if you got 2.0 opening as a vst in Cubase. If you want to open up vsts in 2.0 open it as a DAW by its self.

Sorry i should have said that.... lol yea i open them up in 2.0 only and in cubase i just load the vst....
