I've been critical, for sure, and I always am, towards the stuff I love, as that way those products get pushed (purely loving fanboys never pushed any product anywhere).
I'm a tester for Ableton, too, and have written long, equally critical emails and blog posts in private and in public (I've criticized Ableton way more than I've criticized Akai) and got many thanks from the company for that (even a t-shirt!).

If you've only been reading my posts for the past few months, sure enough it's mostly been about criticism, as Akai's business practices and communication do often rub me the wrong way, as does the long overdue PDC fix.

But if you can give someone criticism, best to give them thanks, too.

Haven't really used them much, so haven't got deep enough to say much.

Had Maschine Studio for a short while, but pattern-based workflow and lack of alternating loop were deal-breakers in the end and I sold it.

Don't select a wifi network you don't know the password for, it won't let you off the password screen.

No joke that update is sweeeeeeeeeeeeettttttt! Man I went to sleep for five hours to get some rest got right up at 5am and installed that baby and had no problems! I had one bug but its gone now, and it really didn't bother me but it's gone now. One of the touch buttons would get stuck, but that's gone now. That was my biggest thing was to get rid of the bugs. I can't wait to get home so I can get busy and have some fun. Don't have to do no serious music until tomorrow!

Stoked you can get to the program edit page from the main page

Also like a small detail they caught. When you have a channel strip open on the main page, it stays on the strip you're working on. For example, I used to adjust the volume of a sound (pad). I'd go to some other screen, and when I'd return to the main page, the strip would be switch to the program level. Now, it stays where you last left it. Love this!

Just tested it myself...and yes they will be engaged / warped in 16 levels...keeping the lenght of the sample even with higher or lower pitch...love it...

After this update I must say that I'm a lot happier with my purchase now. It now feels like a complete product
