Hello All, This is another House track I created on the MPC X. The Bruce Bruce sample vocals was original created and remix a couple times on the Maschine versions of this title. So it might seem lazy of me if you already heard the maschine versions. I really wish I had the luxury of time and talent to push the mpcx to the limit, because I had a lot ideas for this track. But, many times it just don't work out. Track is named [Bruce's House (2017 MPC X Remix)].

I can't wait to get my X to put in some work.

Thanks summer2k, I love those classic 90's house tracks. I'm seem to be stuck in the 90's time zone.

I used and control [Analog Lab 2], [Xpand2] and [Omnisphere] vst for chords with the mpcx in controller mode. The whole track with just the mpcx.

Wow Heavy you rolling with the X and I’m with the Live. Both units are great for remixes just in the unit. I still haven’t done much in the software side yet beyond my Logic Pro.

Blue Haze, what happening? Yes I went with the X, because I purchase the mpc touch a ways back. Been trying to get back into the flow of the mpc. Taking it, slow and steady.

You posted some tight tracks on soundcloud. I been trying to keep up with you. Checking out the latest. You're nice with the modern house tracks.. I know you going to make flames come out the Live.

I seen a youtube video from KnockSquared. He was using the human voice patch in his project. I had to have it after that video. I have a couple of hardware vocoders for robots and human voices. Using Omnisphere 2 is quicker and easier to use without all the wire connections and sampling.

Thanks for the support always Heavie. I really dig your sound also. I also used omnisphere 2 for coming up with sounds. I have been working with my live, rytm and sound designing with my mpc 4000 retired a bit in the case. Great tracks and enjoy the MPC X how do you feel about it compared to your 4k? I like the live for the audio tracks, and the time stretching though I have to do some menu diving. I believe the MPC X is more like the 4k with dedicated buttons, qlinks, and inputs and outputs.

I sold my mpc4000 many, many years ago. As a matter of fact, I sold all my hardware. Except for the roland VP9000 variphrase sampler and a couple of rack vocoders and efx racks. MPC X is the first hardware I purchase, since the mpc5000. Now I'm surround with controllers in my little studio. You remember back in the days, when every piece of new gear had text book size manuals. To connect, control and sync a studio full gear. Thank God, those days are over. What a hassle.

My reason for getting the mpc x is dedicated buttons and the qlinks. Every since more qlinks was added to the mpc4000, I been a sucker for a mpc with as many qlinks, akai can throw in. My opinion the best source for time stretching or warping is simpler in ableton live. If the mpc x or live had the warp marker feature in timestretching like ableton and pitch shifting for vocal samples. I will lose my mind if the pitch shifting can be played with the pads aswell as controlled with qlinks and recorded in automation. Another wish feature is instant sample edit start and end point with qlinks, recorded in the sequence as automation without affecting the sample in the program section, like I seen done in videos with the Elektron Digitakt.

I see now I was always going by your avatar concerning your 4k. I still have my 4k but like I said it is retired now that Im working with Live and Rhythm for drums. Like you I still need hardware even though most of my synths and sampler modules are software especially for Rhodes, pads, and etc.
