Y'all nit picking about modular gear and connecting the X to something.. you can certainly take the X (or live) out on the boulevard or the kitchen table
That is standalone. You dont need the computer for any final processing.

Synth, guitar whatever are all musical instruments. The eurorack he's using is no differnt and the type of sound design he does cannot be achieved very easily with soft synths. I'm not really into him, but he makes some crazy stuff.

Standalone 2kxl, no gear attached. CD samples or sampled in samples would be fine. But NO other gear attached is real standalone alone.
