After loading up two separate projects, I've lost all my Drum Programs even though the samples still exist. Even the recorded midi notes, yet strangely the Drum Program vanishes for ever single one of my tracks. This is obviously very disheartening since it's a brand new problem that I imagine was introduced with the recent update. :(

Elaborate some. I've been able to load multiple PROGRAMS, with no issue. Now loading a project overwrites your existing project if I'm not mistaken. The file system if different from other Mpcs I've used, and Sometimes it's confusing with the internal hd, plus USB or sd cards.

Yeah! I've probably made over 100 beats on MPC Live already having owned it since May, this has happened twice since the 2.0.5 update on new beats. I doesn't appear to have erased any old Drum Programs on previous Projects.

For the record I almost always back up my Projects to USB stick. Both occasions the Drum Program(s) were missing.

Guess the new update doesn’t like breaks :-D I can hear already MPC Live talking:
“Hey you...work all day like a slave to craft me some beats” Very rewarding!

What I mean is, at the top of the results display, there are filters (each looks like what it represents; audio files look like a little soundwave, programs look like a little 16-pad array, etc.) Sometimes I'll inadvertently have the "audio files" filter engaged, and I can't, consequently, see programs. It hides them.

At the end there's a little folder icon, either w/ or w/o a line through it. Make sure that line is OFF, and you should be able to see everything in the directory.

I'm sure you know this, but I can't imagine why we haven't heard more of this problem.

@Icepulse, yes if you're talking about "browser" and the search directory then yes I know what you're saying. Doesn't help unfortunately. The corresponding "xpm" files are gone. The weirdest part of all this is how the track data (midi notes) are still there along with the samples. It's deleting drum program data but not the other progress.

I do not know exactly what kind of internal drives are used for the Live...but data dissapearing from it seems to happen more often then expected.

I put a 500gb ssd Samsung in mine, haven't had any problems until now. Which leads me to believe it's related to the update. I also backed up the projects to usb, and in both instances the data was missing.

I've been running tests to see if it'll happen again but so far it hasn't. What'll be doing now is making several saves of every project just in case. Seems unlikely that the possible bug would corrupt all of them.
