2.0.5 Disappearing Drum Program Bug!

Okay, there's definitely something fishy. I reloaded a beat up and a Drum Program had been selected for an empty track. Not missing this time, just doing weird things. This has happened before too recently. Somebody hopefully can confirm this officially soon.

Okay if someone would like to try this, see what happens.

1. Create multiple drum programs, and record some midi notes on a track.

2. Remove the drum program so it displays <none>

3. Save project.

4. Shutdown, or load up another project, then load back up test project.

If a random drum program has been magically placed in the empty track then we're on to something.

Keep in mind this isn't exactly as bad as losing one's Drum Program entirely, but they could be related.

have you sent any of your problem files over to the akai devs so they could figure out what's going on, if not go over to gearslutz and pass them to damn so he can get to the bottom of this asap.

IF you turn the data wheel on the pgm field in the corresponding track with missing drum pgm, can you re select the correct drum pgm?

Just had a Project completely disappear!!!

After I worked on it, I saved and opened another Project. I shut down. Turned MPC Live back on, Project is not where I saved it, nowhere to be found. This is bad.

No, that's my point. It's gone, there's no Program there to select. Now I'm losing entire Projects, so it's getting worse apparently. Maybe my ssd is starting to fail already?

So You existing beats are there on drive still? When you open them(DONT SAVE OVER THEM) they open fine ?

Yes, all my old beats from before the update appear to be there. But I've lost two new projects since update, I just realized there's a beat missing I made from last weekend too.

Has anyone reported this to Akai yet? Any feedback from them?

Have you formatted your SSD in exFAT?

Oh dear, that´s really bad.

Isn't this the official MPC forum? I thought coming here was the proper thing to do. No further losses (that I know of) as of recent. I've been extra diligent backing up everything up like an OCD maniac though.
