Yes sir!

2000XL is sweet l love that machine. But the live is sweeter with new technology and functions.

When l do my drums l get in the zone with the Live. I connect better. Those sticky thicky icky pads is an extension of what's in my head and lm able to put it down without worries .
The MPC got that thang :smoker:

I make “harder” beats on 2kxl than on 4k. IDK why. It just happens.

When I use Triton Extreme by itself I don’t feel compelled to make hard beats at all. I feel like I need to come with serious melody and pay less attention to drums. IDK why, it just happens.

My best kybds came from ASR10. The kybd feel is LEAGUES better than anything Korg I’d touched before.

Imo the 2kxl is the one it's just so easy, luv that machine just the right amount of features and easy to master... If your into the ASR10 pair that with an 60II or 3000 "mind blowing ish" :smoker:

I used my ASR10 with 2kxl for many years.
I had 2kxl main outs going into my ASR10 live inputs (mixer), ASR10 acted as a mixer and both machines main outs went our through the ASR10 main outs. MEANING 2kxl outputs went through ASR10 effects if I wanted.

The greatest simple combo ever imo.

I agree the new MPCs are superoir to the old ones but.... Its all up to the end user. You can have a guy kill it on a 3000 over a guy on the new MPCs.

I love lots of resources. Clients ask for something you better have or can get dam near what they want. I got crazy resources and just got a new one today. :-)

Only been a few weeks, but the asr works awesome with the mpc live. I went through a lot of gear this year to find something that feels right with my workflow. Had one like 10 years ago, got a good deal on one said why not. Still learning and relearning a lot but so far I am shocked at how well they team up. I wasn't expecting it at all.

Updated tech can really breathe new life into older gear, especially something so far ahead of its time. Is there anything modern that comes close to some of these keyboard samplers? I'm sure that there are programs and features of daws that come close but this thing shines sound, specs, ease of use in a hardware instrument. I've looked some but nothing seems to even get close to an asr besides older hardware.

@cockdiesel how are you using the ASR with the MP? I've never owned one but had heavy access to one for about 3-4 years... I still haven't ran into anything with better filters and built in effects... It's like having the Sound Toys bundle in a hardware box/keyboard but better!
Always toy'd with the idea of grabbing one but never pulled the trigger, was thinking of using it as my main midi controller, sampler and fx box....
