Changing Drums programs INPUT midi channel?

Hey guys,
I can't find if it's possible or not to change the INPUT midi channel of drums programs.

I've made a template with several drums programs loaded with all the various samples I would need for my next EP on there, and I'd like to send external midi sequencer's midi infos simulatneously on the various drums programs and record those infos, but it seems that all midi channel received are merged and go only on the momentarily selected drum program, and I cant find any way to set a desired drum program to only respond to one specific midi channel info.

Can somebody please help me to find out if it's possible or not?

Sorry but Live can’t do miltitimbral Rec/Play for now..You can ask this as a feature request that’s what i did and as long as there’s many people requesting it we can make it happen..I’ve read in GS that Dan from AKAI confirmed Disk streaming and Miltitimbral support in an upcoming update but he didn’t gave any specific time table..

Thanks for your answer and news; those 2 updates would really finally make the MPC Live useable for modern electronic band making live with various hardware gears... finger crossed it all come in the next update before the end of the year!

I'm just surprised that they've decided to release the MPC without this. Unbelievable.
