MPC Live Pad Perform MIDI

Is there a way to use the MPC Live Pad Perform function to send MIDI chords to VST instruments in Ableton?

If thats the case I am hoping I can sell of Ableton Push as thats all i really use it for currently as I am not very good with music theory.

I use it to send midi to a external synth via midi din so I don't see why not if you have a midi in Port.

That’s what I’m doing. I’ve got a preset template with 14 midi tracks of vst/hardware synths routed from Ableton to Mpc Live. Using standalone mode and Ableton Link.
