internal disc not mounting on desktop

i tried to save my sample library to the internal hd, but it didn‘t mount on my mac desktop. what gives?!

yes i‘m in controller mode. but only a usb stick attached to the mpc shows up.

The internal disk that comes with your unit doesn't mount to the computer. You have to install a separate drive in there or use an external device for it to read to your computer. Also, make sure you name your drive if you install one in the unit. It makes things much easier.

And you need to format it before loading samples to that hd
