Mpc 2.0/apollo twin duo

Hey guys, has anyone recorded vocal tracks on the mpc 2.0 using the apollow twin duo yet? Ive been trying but the vocals come out very low, you can barely hear them, weird because my mic sounds perfect before and during recording, but when i play back, vocals are very low, is it something in the software i need to adjust??

Are the vocal levels messed up when you use a DAW?

sorry for the off topic but Do you hear allot of difference in audio quality between the two ? ..
if you record/sample the same material does the duo sound more natural and detailed with deeper lows?
and I guess the follow up on that would be what is your monitoring system ..

Make sure the resolutions both match also. I always have my Apollo on 48 and my MPC X was set at a default rate of 44. Everything was fine after that.

Sucks he isn't responding - this is a great topic. I wonder if he was using the inputs on the 'mic' setting rather than the'line, setting, although technically speaking that would have made the signal way hotter...I think.
