Ableton Link - syncing Ableton and MPC

Hi there,

Cant seem to get this to work. So im on Live 9 and MPC 2.05 (in standalone mode):

- WIFI is connected onthe MPC
- Sync is set to Ableton Link
- It identifies 1 link in ableton which is good.

I press play on either the mpc or ableton and the clocks arent synced. What steps am i missing? The video guide that was put up on youtube just shows this connected to an ipad not actually ableton live itself. Main reason im doing this is to be in sync with Rytm which is using overbridge.

A plugin is causing a delay inside Ableton...Try with a clean new project with nothing loaded and check again your sync..

I'm using a clean project. Only plugins loaded are the external instrument plugins and over bridge (which I removed for testing).

I’ll make a test with my Ableton Live and i’ll let you know..

OK I think its me being stupid. I'm used to midi and master\slave triggering. U just press play. Its pretty good...had adjust timing to get overbridge synced but works.
