Line in not working

phono inputs work fine; but nothing seems to work when running into line in.

has anyone experienced the same? I have toggled the line/phono input selector but I just dont get any signal.

I have never dropped the unit or rough handled it, any ideas or shall I just invoke the warranty?

I have not yet logged this with Akai, have had the unit since Feb/Mar but only started to sample in in the past week r so

Are you in controller mode? You would only be sampling to your PC. Switch to standalone to use it traditionally.

Make sure you have the correct input selected.

I know this sounds elementary but have you turned up the recording gain knob? Believe it or not I did that and it drove me nuts. Lol

This should be placed in the MPC Touch forum. MPC Live wasn't released until May.
