It should be a machine for live performance isn't it?
It's a bit slow to draw notes with a pencil during a live set...

People talk a lot about expectations for their live sets, but the MPC has always been, at heart, a studio production tool. Get a Korg Microkey. It has rudimentary arpeggiator functionality. Other controllers also have such features.

Again!!!
Peace and blessings to you Richie.
I have Starman on ignore. I don't talk to him so he does anything to get my attention. He's an attention whore, he's like that ex girl you can't seem to get rid of and wants to be a pest in your life.

If that clown thinks l dont understand jitters, latency and quantizing then he's a fool. All you gotta do is watch this guy follow me around. He's trolling. He should be worrying about making music, which is hard for me to believe he is making music.

But l try to help people as much as l can so they can enjoy the MPC live like l am. We MPC users should be abke to help one another. I remember guys helping me like yourself, lll Green, Fanu, Tutor and a few others. Good fun convos with others like Certified Beatz, Cockdiesel, Icepulse and others. I haven't been here lately getting music done for the first quarter and come back to this.

Thanks

HIS needs are covered, therefore the machine is in perfect condition and in no need of other features.
Sorry.

I've always felt that Danoc has been a strong advocate for the needs of others on here. If a user has the audacity to complain about the midi clock sync issues, it makes perfect sense to chime in with something completely unrelate-able in attempt to nullify the original posters issue.

A perfect analogy would be that if you posted that you're not feeling well and I told you that can't be because I'm feeling great, clearly you're the one who is in the wrong. Again, fix your f*cking attitude.

A decent arpeggiator would be right at the top of my wish list for the Live. It’s absolutely screaming out for one if you’re sitting on a goldmine of synth keygroups and use them a lot.

ARP

Yeah if Akai can do it, why not. That would be cool, but I don't see them doing it, I hope I am wrong! 8)

Why wouldn’t they do it? There’s already keygroup specific features like pad perform mode for working with chords and scales. It’s a no brainer addition for what’s already there IMO.

I too also agree it should have an arp, it already has pad perform so it's definitely possible, they could use the TC as the time divisions and off you go!!!

Edit: or what Coz said lol

That's true that's why l said I HOPE I'M WRONG!
We shall wait and see. We still need to deal with bugs and what not that people are having problems with their MPC.
Can't move on to one thing without fixing the other.
