Firmware is still 2.0.7. It's the computer MPC Software that is now at 2.0.8, it should offer the update when you next open the app.

@Danoc: If I'm totally honest, I've not noticed any. Waaaay back when the 2.03 firmware was out I used to get the classic error message & I had to reboot, but nothing noticeable since. Not using it much lately, work /life has taken over......no balance atm!! Yeah, pretty much standalone, more out of laziness than anything else!!
I do keep messing with the software, but most of the time I can't be bothered to fire it up. No valid reason, just that, I think....))
