We shall see if they go, 2.1, 2.2 and so forth. But as long as they improve the product I am going to be happy.

Glad Akai is pushing the software I really think the mpcx and a fully built out DAW will put others to shame. As they say... they got one”” thanks Akai for not giving up and really building out some quality gear.

Looking foward!!!! Hopefully the standalone can get some nifty creative features for vst support or maybe an added chip somewhere for processing etc etc

Glad to see these coming. Eager to see where we are in a year.

It will be interesting to see where they are at in a year.

I haven’t checked gs in a while but dan was talking about a lot of things they were planning to implement.

I know gs gets ways more traffic but it would be cool to see an Akai rep pop in here. I mean this forum is dedicated to their main product line. Yea they will get roasted but dan caught a lot of flack over there as well.

Roger Linn popped in, but I he think he gets a internet hood pass for roasting.

Is anyone seeing performance issue with the 2.0.8 software update? On the pad mixer screen the gui is dropping frames and turning into a slide show. There is no stutter or sound lag during playback but the VU meters, and playhead stutters badly.

It's the MPC TOUCH that was causing the lag, after disconnecting it everything became smooth again. I connected the LIVE and MPC Studio to the same session and there wasn't any flaws. I'll reinstall the touch's drivers and displaylink application.

I noticed with the LIVE and Touch in controller mode, it now shows the cover art for installed expansions. Still no proper tagging from the controller view though.
