MIDI Note mapping for Bank A

Thats what Im looking to do. Ive updated all the note mappings and saved the project but also saved the program as "TR-8 Mapped" When I switch to Standalone, it shows that the program is TR-8 Mapped but its not mapped. I then tried to just load the saved program into the current project (as well as other projects) but the mapping is not there. Seems like a disconnect is happening somewhere but im not sure where

Thanks Tutor, still not having any luck.

Perhaps i'm just not doing this correctly so ill outline my steps.
1. Create a new project in software and set the first program to be a MIDI program.
2. Select Edit > Program > Note Mapping and change each pad to the custom map.
3. Select file > Save Current Program.
4. From the MPC LIVE i enter controller mode (instantly the project with the custom mapped program is loaded.)
5. I Select Save As.. and save the project to my MPC LIVE USB DRIVE.
6. Switch back to Standalone and the custom mapping is gone. Also if i just load the program to an empty project, the custom mapping is gone.

It seems like a pretty straightforward process but maybe i'm doing something wrong. Anything jump out at you as incorrect? Could you confirm this works in your environment?

I've never actually tried it with a MIDI program, only a DRUM program. I just tested it with both, DRUM program custom mapping works fine in both modes, MIDI mapping is forgotten in standalone, but remembered in the software. I assume this is a bug in the standalone firmware, so worth reporting it.

Cool thanks, Ill report it then. Is there someway to change the drum program to control a Midi device? At the risk of revealing my Noobiness...Why exactly would you map midi notes in a DRUM program?
