After a week of testing my new Mpc Live, I would say that this device is exactly what I was dreaming of.
It's not a real substitute of a daw, it's not the final solution of music production, it's just a great instrument, if you have patience and passion you can learn to use it as a proper musical instrument.

Yes, it has some lacks and there is something missing, but as you enter into its workflow, it opens up a universe of possibilities and it actually sounds great, detailed and clear.
I would say It's the mothership of groove boxes, if you use it this way, a superb sampler and a complete drum machine, a looper and a sampler, just to say the least.
I don't mind using it with other gears, I don't pretend I can do anything with it.
