This is wkd. Really well produced and spacing of layers. Can you run through how your produce a track at a high level on the mpc? What I mean by this is once you have your core tracks how are you sequencing this into a song?
The options I how tried are:
- copying a sequence with key components into new sequences and then editing so each sequence forms a phrase/section (e.g. intro, phrase 1, etc) . Then i guess convert to one giant sequence in song mode?
- Or alternatively copy sequence with key components to a large length and just start editing from start to finish. Use the sequence start/end points to work through the full song.
Both similar ideas to how I would work in Ableton, but tbh, I seem to lose interest and haven't completed anything yet.
Would be good to know if you follow a similar approach.
