Loading sample problems

Started having a reoccurring problem this week. Was wondering if anybody else has experienced this:

While browsing samples from the installed ssd Sandisc sometimes the audition cuts off the sample. When I load it into a project only that part of the sample plays and if I go to sample edit it'll show only part of the sample with a green "loading" circle spinning. I have to shut down the live and turn back on for it to stop

It does this after browsing samples for more than a few minutes.

I'm thinking it's the ssd I put in

Good point. I never use the sounds it comes with so I will have to test tonight when I get off work. Looks like I'll have to make some heat with shitty akai dubstep patches I'll report back.

Yep, I've had it happen a few times but I don't know what is causing it. Entire programs have loaded with short truncated samples. Pretty odd.

I doubt it's anything to do with using an SSD.

I have exactly the same problem. But it also happens with samples of the internal disk (and even before i even installed my ssd) so its not ssd related.

I have a similar problem with my Live. Only with me it happens when I load a project. Has anyone found out how to solve the problem? The green circle spins when I look in sample edit and only a part of the sample plays. It's getting worse! First it happened occasionally and I could just reload the project. Now it happens more often and on top of that I have to turn the Live off and on instead of just reloading the project.

I have firmware 2.07, an SD card. The first few months it never happened. It started happening before I installed 2.05.

By the way: it also happens when I use a thumb drive. So it guess it has to be in the software, because you guys have the problem with SSD and I have it with SD and thumb drive. Or maybe it's the internal connection cable with all of the above, but I'm not technically skilled so I'm just guessing.

You may have to call for service, unless you wait to see if this next performance update fixes it.
