sup peeps have had about a year beat break; no desire,

but am now feeling the urge to get back on beats so dusted off my mpc live

i tend to use ndc chop mode for changing start points and pitching the different slices in program mode but this aint working.

i have gone into program edit and the first sample tab and changed the selection from all to pad

i have then copied my sample onto multiple pads

then when i go into the sample edit screen and select the program tab, i am able to change the start and end point of the sliced independently

but despite also selecting pad in the sample edit screen when i change the tune option it impacts all my ndc slices.

hope some one can give me a refresher on how i achieve the desired result

if you are just wanting to just adjust the pitch adjust semitone and fine tune in the program edit mode. I don't use sample edit unless Im doing other processing. Adjusting start and end points and adjusting pitch can all be done in program edit mode.

And the MPC Live is a dust magnet even if you use it every day like I do. Masking tape and dust cloths are essential :Sigh:
