Hi what microphones are you using with your mpc? I seem to be getting a low signal vocal recordings with my shure sm58

You must turn up the gain knob verry high to get a good signal.. The first 60% won't give you anything and than suddenly it starts to boost the signal dramatically.. (It's not easy to control but you will find a sweet spot)..
